The Executive Director Mrs. Aishatu Aliyu usman attended a two weeks training course on comprehensive protection of civilians (CPOC) 36/2024 in Martin Luther Agwai international leadership and peacekeeping centre jaji zaria Nigeria The training which started on 29 June to July 12, the courses focuses on social, political, religious, culture, economic , environmental and humanitarian factors in support of African peacekeepers in multi-dimensional peacekeeping operations , the course is in response to a wake up call by the UN Security Council on the need to forestall the experience of genocide and mass murders in some conflict areas which forces the international organizations to ensure the pro-activeness of peacekeepers in the aspect of civilians in all Peace Support Operations (PSO) The course covers series of presentation, syndicate, discussions and indoor exercises.
